The Moving Process

Here are the basic steps from start to finish

• We will gather all the information from you such as Where you are moving from, where they are moving to. NOTE: If you do not have an address yet at the destination, we can just use the state and zipcode.
• We will then discuss how large you move is, such as 1, 2, 3+ bedrooms etc.
• Then we take an inventory with the customer over the phone or on video so that we can prepare an estimate for you. NOTE: this is not be the final list of inventory as we will call again before the date of the move to go through the inventory again to make any changes that may need to be done.
• We will discuss the extra services that we offer.
• We will go over the lay out of the origination, such as are there stairs, elevator, what floor is it on. Can our truck park close enough or do we have a long carry, or will we need a shuttle service because our 26’ trucks will not fit.
• We will discuss if there are any special items that need crating or if you need us to bring packing material for them.
• The day of the move, there will be anywhere from 2-4 movers depending on the size and what will be needed.
• We will shrink wrap and blanket wrap furniture, disassemble certain items and load on to the truck.
• When finished the truck will return to our facility where it will be off loaded until customer is ready for delivery.
• Once they are ready, trailer will get loaded and customer will receive a call reviewing the balance due, forms of payment and an approximate date of delivery.
• The driver once closer to the delivery address will call 24 hours prior to his delivery date. At delivery, payment is excepted first and then they will start unloading the truck and placing the items where you would like them
